FUNDRAISING & EVENTSSCHOOL-WIDE EVENTS BPAC's planned events are held to encourage and build school spirit. They are an important part of building the friendly atmosphere at Blueridge Elementary, such as the Back to School BBQ, Family Movie Night and our annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon. We would love to hear your ideas and suggestions for new events or programs that you think would contribute to Blueridge. Our school's programs are only successful because of the volunteers who help organize and implement them, so please consider volunteering to help out. FUNDRAISING EFFORTS Fundraising is an important part of our PAC. Money is raised to fund supplementary programs and enrichment items such as library supplies and books, performing arts, gym equipment, tables, computers, student recognition, and classroom support materials. Blueridge is a well-resourced school thanks to the ongoing generosity of our parent body. All fundraisers are optional. BPAC runs a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year so that something appeals to everyone. You may support these activities monetarily or by volunteering your time to run them. Each spring BPAC forms a Fundraising Committee to plan the next year's fundraising activities. Your ideas and suggestions for new events, programs, and fundraisers are most welcome. Working together we can all make a difference to the enrichment of our childrens' educational experiences. Cash donations are also welcome. Please make cheques payable to BPAC. A tax receipt can be provided for donations of $25 or more. Thank you for your support. |
